Grilled Sesame-Ginger Tuna Kabobs

Grilled Sesame-Ginger Tuna Kabobs are easily grilled with heirloom orange cherry tomatoes, toasted sesame ginger seasonings, and topped with lemon zest and olive oil. ย They make the perfect and light summer meal without any fuss.ย  These kabobs can be grilled to perfection in a matter of seconds!

I made theseย Sesame-Ginger Tuna Kabobsย intoย bite-size pieces so theyย canย grillย upย quickly. They are very easy to make and turn out delicious every time!

I love the combination of flavors in this tuna kabob.

The lemon citrus with ginger seasonings gives a refreshing flavor to the tuna.ย  While the sweet tomatoes in between, not only make a pretty and colorful kabob but also compliment the tuna so nicely, giving it a fresh clean taste.

So delicious, the whole family loves these grilled sesame-ginger tuna kabobs.

I made these kabobs to beย grilled outside, but then it started to rain, so I had to grill them inside on my stoveย cast ironย pan and theyย grilled up perfectly anyway and in a matter of minutes.

And to my surprise, my husband whoย is a meat and potato man said it was the best tasting tuna kabobย he has ever had!

I served these kabobsย withย our Gluten-Free Zucchini Lasagnaย asย ourย side dish along withย a greenย salad.ย It wasย a perfect dinner forย a warm and rainyย evening.

Thank goodness the rain finally stopped.ย  …More sunshine, please!

Have a greatย day everyone.

Ingredient for Grilled Sesame Ginger Tuna Kabobs:

  • 1 tuna steak (about 3/4 pound)-cubed, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 10 heirloom orangeย grape tomatoes-sliced in halves

  • 1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 Tbsp. Toasted Sesame Ginger Seasoning, (I used Victoria Taylor’s)

  • 1 Tbsp. lemon zest

  • 1/2 lemon juiced

  • 8-inch bamboo skewers

  • oliveย oil cooking spray

Directions to make these Tuna Kabobs…

1.ย  Begin to thread pieces of tuna and tomatoes onto single skewers, starting with the tuna and finishing with a tomato at the top. ย About 3 pieces of each per skewer.

If you want to add more, you will need to thread on pairs of skewers in order to support the weight and to make it easy for you to turn while grilling.

2.ย  Transfer kabobs to a platter.ย  Lightly scatter and press the sesame ginger seasoning on all sides of the tuna to coat the fish. ย Drizzle olive oil and scatter lemon zest over them.ย  Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours or more.

3.ย  A few minutes before you grill the tuna kabobs, remove them from the refrigerator and squeeze lemon juice over them.

4.ย  Heat grill for a few minutes.ย  Spray grill with cooking oil.

5.ย  Place tuna kabobs on the grill and grill the fish, turning, until tuna turns to a pale grey color, about 1 to 2 minutes per side for medium-rare.ย  Keep an eye on them since they cook up quickly.

6.ย  Remove and serve.
