S'mores dip is a simple two-step recipe. The base of this dip is a mixture of melted chocolate, milk and marshmallows. The recipe calls for semi-sweet chocolate, but if you prefer milk or bittersweet, you could certainly substitute either one of those without any problem. Then it's topped with marshmallows again (you need marshmallows to make s'mores and the more the better).
It took only 5 minutes to prep and then you bake it until marshmallows turn golden. Finally, you serve it with graham crackers to dip with. Yum! This dip is so fabulous! I love s'mores! Don't you? Its chocolate-ty, gooey and pure decadence ..Mmm the kids really loved it!
The S'mores Dip
- 1 bag (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips ( I used Hershey's)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1+1/4 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 bag (10 oz) large marshmallows
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a double boiler, melt chocolate chips, 1/4 cup of milk, and mini marshmallows.
Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Mixture will be lumpy.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture into a 9-inch baking pie dish.
Add large marshmallows on top to cover all the chocolate, about 33 to 34 marshmallows.
Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until marshmallows turns slightly light brown.
Remove and serve with graham crackers.
