Kale Strawberry Pineapple Protein Smoothie

Kale Strawberry Pineapple Protein Smoothie. Refreshing, sweet, and thirst-quenching, this kale, strawberry, pineapple, protein smoothie is a fabulous green-colored drink made with 6 ingredients, fresh kale, strawberries, pineapple, banana, protein powder, and almond milk.

Packed with incredible nutrients, kale smoothies are extremely popular these days and are known as ‘super-foods.’

I felt fatigued the other day, so my friend Nicole (who is a Doctor) recommended I make one of her favorite smoothies to help boost my immune system and energy, the one she calls her green smoothie.

Her kale-protein smoothie is so simple and light, making it ideal for me to drink it for breakfast; so filling it held me over until lunchtime.

Oh, and don’t let the green color dissuade you, the taste is truly wonderful!

The kale is hidden in this smoothie and best of all, it’s packed with enough protein and nutrients including vitamins A, C, and K to keep you going all morning.

My bananas and strawberries are kept in the freezer, so making this smoothie was a snap!  Also, I found already chopped fresh kale in a package, (which is sold in most supermarkets) making this smoothie even easier!

Thanks to Nicole, I’ve become obsessed with these kale-protein smoothies.  I now make them often.

My friend Nicole makes various healthy smoothies for her kids every morning before sending them off to school.  They’re even perfect for my high school and college kids too!

I’m so glad I took her advice.

  1. Tasty for a green smoothie! Easy to make and worth trying. I am going to make your other smoothie recipes you listed too.

  2. Straight forward and very easy to put together. Nice smoothies.

    1. Hey Mike, I love coconut milk too! I like to switch milks from time to time just to see what makes smoothies sweeter. Have a great day!

    2. I am new to the whole smoothie thing and am excited to try this recipe, however, I do not like almond or coconut milk. What else can I use in it's place that wouldn't ruin the flavor? Any suggestions? Thanks so much!!!

    3. Hi Stacie! You can use regular low fat milk or coconut water. It will change the flavor slightly but not too much to notice.

  3. Last year I restarted my regular exercise regime after realizing what a few years of unbalance had done to my once fit body. I also started getting more greens in my diet with great effects.

    1. I am too! As I get older I notice it gets harder to stay in shape. And I noticed that smoothies keeps me from going to the pantry and grabbing something else! Thank you for your comment!

  4. I love kale smoothies and I have them at least 2x a week. They are the perfect on-the-go lunch or post-workout snack. I usually make one up when I serve hot lunch at the kid's school. The little kids always ask me what the green stuff is that I'm drinking, but the older kids totally know what it is and half of them say they love kale smoothies. It's so California! Anyway, I have not mixed kale with strawberries yet, so I need to try your version. You can never have too many kale smoothie recipes, right? xoxo, Jackie

    1. Hey Jackie …You are SO RIght! I keep making versions of kale smoothies, some are good and some not so good, but its always fun to try something completely new ( like out of our comfort zone), right?
