Pomegranate Prosecco

Pomegranate Prosecco ~ is a blend of pomegranate juice, simple syrup, and Italian prosecco!
Prosecco is a lively, Italian sparkling wine that is essential to having a good time, Italian-style! This is a festive cocktail you can make with just 3 ingredients and prepare as your guests arrive.

Italian Prosecco always adds an element of festivity to any gathering or meal and is easy to pair with any kind of food. The fruity flavor of pomegranate makes this cocktail a delightful aperitif!

Just pour some pomegranate juice into each glass, add a splash of a flavored simple syrup of your choice and fill the rest of the glass with prosecco!

Easy peasy!

Be sure to chill both bottles before serving.

The Story Behind this Pomegranate Prosecco…

Pomegranate juice is a little tart for me so I decided to add a splash of strawberry-flavored syrup which I found at Whole Foods while shopping. ย The lady behind the counter was giving out samples in different flavors.

I fell in love with the strawberry-flavored syrup. ย It was sweet and fresh tasting. ย And the idea of not having to make “the syrup” myself, makes it worth the price.

So, I decided to buy a bottle with the idea of a prosecco cocktail in mind.

Finally, to add some festive garnish to the pomegranate prosecco,ย  I tossed in some pomegranate seeds and maybe even a fresh mint leaf for additional touch and color and viola!

Make this holiday a festive one with this pomegranate prosecco as your cocktail to serve with your appetizers!

Cheers!
